Hi Emmet and Camilla, how are you both doing today? Thanks so much for chatting to Stage to Page! Would you mind introducing yourselves to our readers and telling us how you first got into the music industry?

Emmet: Back in 2011 I was cast as lead singer of Irish music show Celtic Thunder and have been touring North America for 13 years. We've got a wonderful fan base and have had 8 World billboard #1 albums to date.

I've performed concerts in over 100 cities across the US and Canada to date and made a sold out solo concert debut at New York’s Carnegie Hall. I am due to return to Carnegie next March 2025.

Camilla: I'm well thank you! I'm an English soprano and Gary Barlow signed me to his universal label in 2009.

You’re set to perform in the Magic of Christmas with The Fulltone Orchestra on 21st December. Can you let us know what audience members have in store for the evening?

E: It will be a musical journey from all your favourite Christmas songs to classics form the world of musical theatre. The energy of a live orchestra is something that is hard to explain - you have to experience it in person - it is truly magic.

C: It’s going to be magical. Expect some of my classic repertoire but also loads of new songs!

How excited are you to sing with a renowned orchestra as the Fulltone Orchestra, and one of such size?

E: I am thrilled as not only will it be my UK debut, to do it alongside an amazing Orchestra is as good as it gets.

C: I love that Fulltone always perform with a full Orchestra. It's so unusual to get that these days. Even on big West End shows there's often less than 10 musicians in the pit. Fulltone do classical the way it's meant to sound.

With the evening being a celebration of cinematic soundtracks, with a particular focus on Christmas - what’s your favourite Christmas film?

E:There are so many to choose from but I find it hard to look past the first Home Alone movie. The music from the movie is so wonderful too.

C: That's a tough one but it'll always be Love Actually for me.

We’re called Stage to Page. But if you could turn any book, from page to stage, what would it be and why?

E: So many of them have been turned into shows at this stage so it's pretty hard to pick just one!!

C: I just reread Monstrous Regiment by Terry Pratchett. It is such a wonderful, thoughtful, funny and poignant book. I'm not sure anyone could write the human condition better than Terry. RIP.

And finally, why should people book tickets to Magic of Christmas with The Fulltone Orchestra?

E: It's going to be a night of incredible music and entertainment, and we promise to put people in a magical festive mood. Great music, great singing and a wonderful orchestra to accompany - and we want you all to singalong with us as well.

C: You won't hear better musicians, that's for sure, and the ticket price is so damn reasonable. I was really pleased about that. Classical music really should be for everyone and that's what both Fulltone and I are trying to achieve.
